HELP with my Polar FT4

I bought my Polar FT4 last friday, and It's been working great. Last night I went to use it and it couldn't find my heartbeat?? AM I DEAD?? LOL I tried jumping around yata yata waiting and nothing. Could it be the battery? Of course
I threw out the box and receipt. I bought it at ****s. Anybody else have this issue?

    have you moistened the sensors where they touch your skin? (i.e. gobbed on the strap...)

    Mine does that sometimes. I just restart the session and it starts acting right again. I have had to do it a few times on occasion though. Note: I always moisten the sensors before use.

    I just tried to moisten the sensor on the strap and it's still not reading my heart rate?

    The sensors have to be wet at all times, strap need to be tight and laying flat against your chest. Other than that I have no idea.
