Ok...so here I am again!

Hey All - Here I am again! I was here for about 30 seconds months ago. Obviously it was not the right time for and clearly I was not ready. So much has happened since then. My Dad was diagnosed and passed away from cancer in March. I am an emotional ater and so...well I am sure you get the idea. I am miserable in my own skin. My back hurts and my feet are killing me. My clothes are ALL too small for me and I am sick of my "fat pants"!!! My Dad always wanted me to get healthy and to encourage my mom to do the same so this IS THE TIME!!! I have been on, and done well on most, every diet you can imagine. From Weight Watchers, to South Beach to HCG!!! It is time to make a lifestyle change!!! I am ready for it! I deserve all the enoucragment I can get so don't be surprised if you get a friend request from me! I am very interested in what is working for all of you out there!!!

Looking forward to getting to know you all and getting my life back!

    You Can do it if you set your mind to it!! I felt thet same way back in december about myselfand me and my wife are on our way to changeing our lifes!!!:bigsmile:

    Welcome back, Jax, and so sorry to hear about your dad. Like you, I was here a few months back, and like you, I just wasn't ready to commit to it. I was really humbled by seeing how the people who stuck with it in the 4 months I was gone had lost so much weight, just by plugging along and logging their food every day. This time I feel ready and I've discovered that it actually is making me feel good... like more on top of things... just logging my food every day. If you can do some exercise, too, great (I haven't done any yet)... but even if all you do is just plug in what you eat every day, it really helps. I set my calories to lose 1 pound a week, but my first week (last week) I actually lost 6 pounds. Very happy about that.

    So anyway, don't feel like you have to get all perfect and give up what you normally eat. I'm still eating chocolate, pasta, cheese... just counting the calories.

    Hello i just started and i'm back for a week now,one thing a i make sure i do is exercise it helps alot.

    Welcome! I'm very sorry about your dad, my dad passed away a little over 3 years ago. I'm an emotional eater as well and I put back on the 40 pounds I lost before he passed. This is a great site and has really help me! Good luck!!
