Fish Tacos

Options
Okay, this post is more for my bestie than for me. She mentioned the dinner idea of fish tacos. She wants to try them out but is unsure what to put on them. I drew a blank because I've never had fish tacos. She has two little ones to consider when thinking about this meal. She's a fellow MFP'er so it needs to be as good-for-you as it can be.

Can anyone suggest toppings and/or sides to go along with fish tacos? I'll make sure she sees this thread.

Thanks,
Brandi

I have lots of recipes but with two little ones simple is best. I use talapia and sprinkle taco seasoning on it then grill in the skillet after spraying with cooking spray. I use whole wheat, low carb tortillas, the fish, lettuce and some fresh pico that I buy at the store. You can add tomatoes, avacados, salsa or whatever veggies you like. Then I add some chipotle ranch dressing. Or I have a recipe for chili lime mayo as follows:

    1/3 cup fat free mayo
grated zest + juice from 1/2 lime
    2 T Fresh cilantro
    1 t chili powder

Super quick, healthy meal and we love it!!
