how do you count insanity calories

How do you count insanity calories on mfp? There's definitely no "exercise" for it and a regular workout dvd wont work.

If you really want an accurate calculation, I would suggest buying a heart rate monitor. I have the Polar FT40 and love it :)

    Yup
  • I agree. There are wrist watch ones by themselves, but you have to touch it to get the heartrate...they don't do it on their own for the most part. The one I have is a blue tooth chest strap and watch, so that the strap tells the watch what my heart rate is at all times and the watch calculates the calories off of that. Hope this helps!

That sucks. You might want to reconsider your next purchase.

For cardio heavy work-out DVDs I just use "Aerobics, high impact".

I do insanity and i track my calories burned with my polar FT4 then manually put in what ever the workout i did for that day.
I got mine HRM at target for about 100$ and it was worth every penny.
