Lost weight but left with excess skin. Can I reduce this?

I am very excited that I have finally found a system that helps me lose weight: MFP. I have lost around 8kg so far and still losing steadily.

However, I have noticed a small roll of excess skin just above my bikini line (if I was female and so wore bikinis!! :-)

As I lose more weight I presume this problem will become more pronounced.

Does anyone know if exercise, e.g. sit-ups, will help pull this skin back in, or am I too old (52) and saggy for the flesh to spring back.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Here are some of the things I have heard will help:
    1) massage area in direction of heart with moisturizer and/or coconut oil
    2) dry skin brushing with natural bristle body brush in the direction of the heart
    3) the yoga cobra pose arched as far back as you can
    4) build ab muscles

Good luck to both of us; I'm developing something similar.

Wow! Thanks for the fast reply... I will certainly look into those.
I SHOULD already have ab muscles from my intensive gym work a couple of decades ago... but they are now covered by a "comforting layer" and probably need toning anyway.
