Eating slower

Anyone else finding that they seem to eat a lot slower now that you're weighing and/or measuring and not just piling stuff on your plate? My husband eats twice what I do (which makes sense, since he's a foot taller than me, weighs 65 lbs more and is a man), feeds the baby, and I'm STILL eating my dinner.
I love it. I feel like I'm able to enjoy food so much more, now that there's not an overabundance of it. I take the time to savor what I eat, rather than consume it just because it's there.

YES!!!! I did realize this. Since there is not nearly as much to eat on my plate, I enjoy it so much more!! I also seem to stay fuller longer when I do this. Not sure if it's in my head, but either way I LOVE IT0
