Lifting NSV

A little while ago I started New Rules of Lifting for Women and have been pushing myself to lift more and have stuck with 3x a week. Today I had two successes.

1. I managed to do two sets of 75lbs squats with good form. I know for a lot of folks, that's nothing, but for me, that's great.

2 I actually did, for the first time in my entire life, two full sets of REAL push-ups. Hands under my shoulders, on my toes push-ups. I was so excited.

I just wanted to share. Right now, I don't care what the scale says, as long as I keep getting stronger, I'm golden. :)

    I most definitely approve of this outlook...well, assuming that you don't end up looking like a Slavic farm lady on your way to getting stronger. ;)
