Is anyone sensitive to whey protein?

Options
I don't take it very often, just when I reach the end of the day and realize that there is no way I'm going to meet my protein goal without making a lot of effort to cook something. Anyway, the last few times it's bothered me, a lot like some fresh fruit does (I have oral allergy syndrome too), itchy mouth and really bad acid reflux. I'm not allergic to milk, so I'm not sure why it would bother me.

Does this happen to anyone else with whey protein?

Even if no one else does, it only matters if you do. Go with what works for you.

It makes me almost instantly nauseous. I won't touch the stuff. I don't have any milk sensitivities either. I've tried veggie-based protein and that seems to work ok though. Now I just eat whole foods though :)

My stomach has trouble with whey protein when I drank it. Now that I put it in recipes like pancakes I don't have any problem with it
