Workout Question

So i was curious how long you should do a workout for before switching it up?
Is it true that you need to switch up a routine every now and then?
Or by switching it up do they mean adding cardio on certain days?
Or heavier weights??

As far as weights go, try to lift more weight every session. Either increase your reps, or weight per set. Eventually you will stall out. If you don't make gains after a few sessions, you may want to switch it up in some way. Try not to change too much, or too often, or you won't be able to track your progress as well. Make sure you keep proper form. You should never sacrifice form for more weight.0

6-8 weeks generally for intermediate lifters but beginners can get away with a lot more0
