Fingers swell slightly overnight?

Do any of you know why this is? I know my body is pretty sensitive to salty foods, but even on nights when I dont have a lot of sodium, I still wake up with my rings difficult to remove. This goes away during the day, but they swell up a bit every night.
It is not a huge deal since they still come off without pain, but I was wondering why that happens!
Thanks a bunch!

Mine do, it's just because I get hot at night. It's probably nothing0

Do you use a keyboard at work? You may have caarpal tunnel syndrome0

Its just because you aren't drinking water while you sleep. Drink a big glass of water when you wake up and your rings should loosen.0

Mine always swell after a walk or run... not sure why that is... look like little sausages..0

Dehydration maybe? My fingers swell when it's hot and I haven't drunk much water.0

Mine swell during the night, after a heavy intense workout.....my solution....I don't sleep with my rings or workout with my rings.....and drink plenty of water to wash out the extra sodium...even though I don't eat alot of it.0

I have the same thing with both my hands and feet, to the point they can be painful to move. Doctors ran all sorts of tests last year and in the end they said it was just because I am overweight.....grr.... I am on a mission to lose the weight and see if this makes a difference. I drink heaps of water and even have a bottle of water next to my bed at night, I'm sorta happy to know that I am not the only one this happens to!0
