Yoga on Carpet.......eek.

After being a nerd and showing one of my coworkers some of the crazy poses my yoga DVD puts me in I realized something......my carpet is making it way harder to do my yoga!

I could totally stay balanced on the hard floor.

Unfortunately my apartment is totally covered in carpeting (with the exception of my tiny kitchen) and toilet/bathtub area).

Anyone have some inexpensive ideas for a yoga area in my bedroom?

From your title I thought the story was going to be totally different:

"Hey guys, I was showing my coworkers some cool poses and I saw that someone, well, you know, yoga-ed on the carpet!"

If a yoga mat won't stay put, what about one of those hard plastic pads with spikes that you put under desks for chairs to roll on? I have 2 in my home office, and they don't budge. I bet that would work!

Ooo that's a good idea! I think my office might have some extras in the back, maybe I could borrow one to test it out before I buy one :P

The big, expensive, manduka mats will also work
