10,000 steps challenge

Question. I have been doing the 10,000 steps a day challenge, but I have not added this to my exercise log. Should I? Why or why not?

    Depends on how you set your activity level when MFP calculated your daily calories. If you chose "sedimentary" you definitely should add it. If you set it higher, then you need to evaluate if you included this movement into your activity level, then you should not add it.
  • Good advice. I have my setting at Light Activity, so I think I will continue to not add the 10,000 steps. Thanks.
