nearing goal, upping calories?

I'm a couple of pounds from my goal weight and was wondering where to really go from here? Mfp has me eating 1290 calories a day for a 1lb a week weight loss (I usually hit now under 1200 in my diary incase my measurements for food are a bit off).

I'm 19 and 117lbs

Apparently my TDEE is 1795 and BMR is 1384.85

Does anyone have any advice they can give me?

I've heard to eat 100 more calories a week until you've reached a point where you're maintaining and no longer losing weight. Congrats on achieving your goal!

I'm about 4-10lbs from my goal weight...it all sort of depends how i look in the mirror and changing my body composition.

MFP had me eating 1240 a day...and i felt horrible when i went over. I read a thread on here talking about upping calories so i decided to try it. Lets just say i started about 10days ago. originally i put on 2lbs. But, the past three mornings i got on the scale and have dropped three lbs! i feel better and love being able to eat and not count calories burnt exercising. I was probably a little OCD with weighing myself...now i'm making friday my weigh in day and am aiming for .5lb/wk weight loss since i'm so close to go my goal. So far it has worked for me and definitely given me the energy to get through workouts and give 110%!

Well to lose a pound a week you need a 3500 calorie deficit or a 500 calorie deficit each day. So if you don't want to lose any more weight than add 500 calories a day. If you want to lose that last couple of pounds but eat more than add 200 or 300 calories a day. This assumes that you have been losing at a rate of one pound per week.

Changing your energy needs (increasing or decreasing exercise) will effect how much you should eat as well.

Well MFP had me at 1240. I was really really bad at eating back exercise calories because my workouts are done around 7each night and i didn't want to be eating 400 calories at 730 when i go to bed at 9...
So i set MFP to have me eating 1600 calories a day. Sometimes i hit it, and sometimes i don't. I don't count calories burnt anymore and just focus on weight training properly and working in my cardio 2-3times a week. As long as i hit 1500 calories a day i'm fine.

I dramatically increased calories, although some people suggest gradually increasing calories. You just find out which one works for you :)

MFP has me eating at 1254 per day and I am within 7 lbs of my goal weight. I workout everyday. How many calories per day did you go up?

I went up 300-400 calories a day! Depends on the day!
