I had to wear a pedometer as part of a weight manangement activity for my employer sponsored health care plan. If your BMI was over 30, you were required to join weight watchers or wear a pedometer and walk at least 5000 steps daily to keep your deductibles low.

Today I went for my one year physical and my BMI was under 30 (it was 27) so I will not be required to participate anymore! I am so happy as this was a goal for me. While wearing the pedometer was thorn in my side and I didn't like it, it was one of the reasons I decided to change my lifestyle. But, I'm not sad i don't have to remember to wear it everyday!

I had my dr look up my weight from last year's physical and I have lost a total of 63 pounds. 20 more to go for my GW. Never thought I would make it here. Thanks to all of you brave enough to post your pics and stories. This success forum is honestly one of the reasons I come this far!
