First of all, YUM.

Does anybody know the nutrition information for Nielson's frozen custard or something comparable? I refuse to believe that little cup I ate was over 600 calories!

I remember one ice cream scoop's worth is about 400 calories for vanilla. (I'm not sure what size your cup was) It is sugar, egg and cream and pretty darn rich after all. Good luck burning it off it it wasn't previously accounted for...

I wouldn't be surprized if it was 600 calories.

If a frozen custard is based on the egg custard they use for pie filling, then here's some info you might be able to use:
Serving Size 1 oz (28.35g) (How many ounces of custard did you eat? Example: Four oz = 1/2 cup.)

Amount Per Serving = 1 oz

We have Milwaukee Frozen Custard here in Northern VA, and i found nutrition info for it. It's 230 calories for 1/2 a cup. A medium is probably at least 1 cup of custard. Custard in general is more calorie heavy than ice cream is. And frozen yogurt is less calorie heavy. That's my favorite, i find it almost as tasty.

Ah thank you. That sounds a little more reasonable. It was so worth it though!
