HELP! Don't eat enough, won't lose.

I have a hard time having that sink in. Seems if you eat less, you will lose. I have stayed the same for a little over two weeks, been on WW since Jan.1, started MFP yesterday. I've only lost 2 pounds and that was the first week! The last few weeks I have averaged 1,000 calories a day and NOTHING!! Do I need to eat exactly 1200? Or mix it up? OR?
