What tv show are you/were you sucked into?

Lost.

i was so angry at the final season. it turned out that the writers were just flinging gunk against the wall since the very first episode. instead of having some interesting overall story arc, they were simply making it up as they went along. red herring after red herring and they'd introduce characters and information and then never ever revisit any of it.

those 2 show runners will be forever on my S___ List. it's no surprise to me that one of them wrote that horribly illogical and nonsensical Prometheus movie either. ugh.

Battlestar Galactica (reboot)

to a lesser extent than with Lost, but i have the same complaints. that whole final season was nonsense. in fact, ever since the moment where they turned 4 of the characters into Cylons, that show sucked. instead of having something profound to say about monotheism vs. polytheism, or the origins of our species, or whatever, the show runners and writers got a bit too full of themselves over all of the hype they were getting. they really dropped the ball at the end.

there are still some very solid episodes from the first couple of seasons that can be watched alone and enjoyed, but overall they dropped the ball too.

right now, about the only 2 shows that are "must watch" for me are Justified and The Walking Dead. i would actually say that Justified is a better and more interesting show of the two, but neither has had a "jump the shark" moment yet (although The Walking Dead came close with all that idle time on the farm).

Bones, Scandal, Person Of Interest and The Following.
Shows That Were Canceled:
Alcatraz, Breakout Kings, CSI: Miami.
Shows That I Loved That I Don't Watch Anymore, Or At Least Not Closely:
Criminal Minds, NCIS, NCIS: LA, Burn Notice.

Other than that, my TV is usually on;
Adult Swim: Family Guy and America Dad.
Hallmark Channel: Golden Girls and I Love Lucy.
ID Channel: Hell, just anything that is on that channel, I adore.

Dallas....my husband and I can't wait for the new season to start on January 28th!
