Hi there, you need to have a better opinion of yourself. Losing weight is very much an up & down journey it isn't easy & trust meI a also doing my battle, so hang in there, looking at changing how you exercise, mix it up a bit because our body's get used doing things very quickly, consider pushing yourself a bit harder& remember this is YOUR journey0

What is worse is knowing I got myself here. I did this.0

And you'll get yourself out of it if you just persevere
For me, I really do find shopping therapeutic. Perhaps treat yourself to a new iTunes workout mix or a new workout DVD?0 -
You can make the choice to continue trying to get slimmer, or you can give up and stay fat!
Its easy to put on weight, and so hard to get rid of it, its unfair but thats the way it is for everyone. Its a slow process and i get times like this too where i think "i've been doing this forever...am i not there yet?!"
I wish you the best of luck reaching your goal, have patience and you will get there eventually!0 -
Thank you for replying...I am usually upbeat but right now I am just feeling low because I am not where I thought I would be. I will try and change things a bit . I am not giving up but I almost feel that my body is fighting me every step of the way.0

You are way ahead of a lot of people. You are trying to make things better for yourself. Don't give up because giving up is the only way we fail ourselves. If you have been eating less calories than you are burning then the weight and fat will come off. It doesn't usually happen as quick as we would like it to. When I don't see the scale move down then I try to just concentrate more on the day to day work of doing what is right. It will happen for you if you just continue to do the right things. Hang in there!!!0

Are you making this harder for yourself than you need by eating too low in calories? If yes then think about eating a bit more. It'll make it less likely for you to quit because getting to your goal won't be a battle.0

I have been eating all my exercise calories so no danger of under eating. I use a HRM so would hope my exercise calories are as accurate as they can be. My diary is pvt because although I stay under my calorie goal I eat a lot of crap along with the healthy stuff but that is something I am not too concerned about at the moment.
I feel I need to apologise to all who read this because a lot of us have issues and the last thing you need is to hear someone moaning and feeling low.0 -
me too, but I have more energy with which to fight the fat, and at least now I have hope. I keep thinking of it as building more and more muscle and stamina with which to fight the Demon Fat! LOL. Hang in there. I saw someone post; "I may not win immediately, but most definitely".0

Thanks. Sometimes the mind has more baggage to lose than the fat on the body.....I will keep at it because I have to. I don't think I have a choice. Going backwards is not an option.....I hope to goodness my time comes soon!0 -
I just found stretch marks on my sides today from gaining weight. That was pretty depressing. I didn't notice them before. Even though I just started working out again a couple weeks ago, it was a huge mind f#&% to think that I actually did that to myself...
But like a lot of things in life, I don't want my mentality to do those bad things to me. I'm trying to forget about it but... How you do really forget something like that?
I guess I shared that because even though a lot of us may feel really bad about ourselves & our personal appearance, at least we're here & trying to do something about it & that's a good thing.0 -
Keep working away at it, don't give up! I know it can be really frustrating sometimes, but if you can push through these down times, it will work out0

Update : turned my negativity into fuel for exercise! Good day after all :-))0
