What was your hardest "fat habit" to break?

Mine was and still is holding my stomach in! I find myself subconciously trying to hold it all in and I realize it doesn't look any diffent holding it in or letting it out now and it feels better not having to hold it in but it's just a habit! And I would pull my tights/panty hose up to where they wouldn't give me a roll and now I have to make sure I pull them down to where they go or they are just uncomfortable and they don't cut into my fat now. I am sure there are a few more I could think of but that is the 2 right off top of my head. What's the hardest habit you had to break and still find yourself trying to break it?

How I stand for pictures .... With my hands on my hips to try and make my arms lean looking. My friends hate it and I know why, I'm not 220 lbs anymore so why do it still?! It's a hard habit to break0

Adjusting my clothes all the time. I still feel like I have to get my shirt to lay perfectly or it won't look right. I've lost over fifty pounds, and my clothes look fine however they lay, but I feel like I still need to get that little bit of ruching on the tummy to hide it.
Also, I always go to the plus size section in a store. I know I don't fit in those clothes, but my mind thinks it does. It isn't until I realize my size isn't there that I go to the right section.
To be fair, I still have to lose a good amount to lose and hopefully I can stop doing those things at some point.0 -

Swerving into the parking lot when the "Hot Now" sign lights up at Krispy Kreme0

I still feel that little bit of panic when the hostess at a restaurant seats you in a booth. I also gravitate to the back for group pictures and head right to the plus size clothing section automatically.0

Amen steteinne! I have to drive my ambulance past a Krispy Kreme everytime we take someone to the hospital. It's so hard!
Also, I have the tendency to eat fast food, alone in my truck. In fact it used to be a true binging problem because I would hide it for everyone and I would often pre-eat fast food in my truck before an event (I was worried there wouldn't be enough food for me to eat) and I would not just eat to eat good tasting food, I would eat till I was beyond full. Like painfully sick and sometimes until I would throw up because my body couldn't handle the quantity of food I ingested.
So happy I am past that and I have learned to eat healthy and fuel my body with nutrients.0 -

Woah, I hadn't ever thought of this, but really, walking towards a booth, I'm ALWAYS sweating a bit and saying "please fit!!" in my head... I do now!0 -
Walking into the gas station without getting Fried Chicken. I used to eat TONS of that chicken, with Mountain Dew to drink. Of course I never removed the skin because the skin is the best part. Now I just pay for the gas and leave ASAP0

Someone told me this helped them today. It is going to help me too!

Going to the plus size section of shops to get big clothes that cover me up completely and don't show any rolls.
Still thinking I am fat, even though I am not that bad looking now (still have 13kg to go, but already lost about 30kg). Doesn't do my confidence a lot of good.0 -
I loved the new chocolate covered ice cream cones at McDonalds (the chocolate hardened)...so Yummy! I haven't had one in a LONG time! Since I drink healthy smoothies at home, I haven't had the urge for ice cream now.0

My worst habit is what I call "the all or nothing" mentality. If I goofed - I told myself the whole day was shot and I could eat whatever I wanted and start over tomorrow. Sometimes, this was a whole week thing - "start over on Monday" Now, I trying to plan for when I might 'goof" a little and eat lighter throughout the day or simply accept it and move on. Last week, we went out for Mexican food with friends - 300 calories over goal. I logged it, did well the following days, and lost 2 lbs that week. !!!!0

I do this too. If I made 1 bad choice, I would throw the whole day out the window and eat whatever I wanted since I'd already "ruined" that day, and I could always start over tomorrow. Now I try and remember that its never too late to save the day, and there is no reason to make it worse then it aleady is.0 -
eating candy like m&ms and cookies. i love the crap out of that food.0

Mine has been ordering way to much at restaurants. Just an old habit, but ordering two sandwiches, fries and a drink. I am only in this 5 months and still at times when I am ordering think I need to get 2...but never have. Or feeling we 'need' an appetizer. Or feeling I 'need' to get my moneys worth at a salad bar and consuming 3X the calories and that is before my entree comes. BUT logging this has helped me break this and the desire not to go back to those habits.0

My hardest habit is eating at night. I do really good all day and then I sit down at night to watch tv or play on the net and I want to eat alot of junk! Now I get on my bike and ride while I am watching tv!0

This! Stress makes me instantly hungry and I automatically start thinking of cheesecake!
Also....subconsious eating....like I see food and pop something in my mouth without thinking about it...without really being consious that I am eating something....0
