    Absolutely the sweetest face! Does she have pit in her? I find they are the sweetest pups (aside from mastiffs)! I love big dogs!

    When my hubby and I bought our home 11.5yrs ago, we also bought 2 basset hounds. I loved our Tank and Bella(would post pics, but can't). He passed away at 5yrs and she at 8yrs. We now have a border collie/german shepard mix that we got from the human society named Lindy. She is the best dog we could've asked for, but I miss having my bassets. When our older two daughters were babies, Tank would bay everytime they cried. It wasn't always funny, but after awhile we got use to it. We usually heard him first, kids second.lol. He also liked to take there toys from them when they'd be crawling around or just playing on the floor. We always assumed he thought the girls were his toys too. And Bella, well, she liked to clean our daughters as if they were her babies if we left them down unattended.

    <<<< 3 year old collie lab cross, named Sam.

    He was hit by a truck on the highway about a year and a half ago, had extensive hip surgery, and now you can barely tell he was ever injured. So glad we didn't have to put him down. My kids adore him, climb all over him, he knows to wipe his feet when he comes inside, and shuns us if his blanket isn't ready for him on the sofa. He'll walk to the far end of the living room and sit there sighing, with his back turned to us. It's hilarious!
