Our team weighed in Monday Jan 21 for a state wide weight loss competition. The competition goal is for each team member (4 people per team) to lose 10lbs in 10 weeks. My ultimate goal is more than 10, but I'll take the fun competition and team mate encouragement to help me along the way.

I have logged apx 35 miles on our recumbent bike this week mixed with weight training (Disappointing that you don't earn calorie credit for weight training....If you have no rest periods between sets, your heart rate stays up!) Anyway... this morning, I weighed in 4lbs down since Monday. I'll take it! :)

That is so awesome. Very well done.

Why don't you earn calorie credits for weight training? I don't believe that to be correct.

After entering my cardiovascular exercise which burned 238 calories and then entering my strength training exercise, my Daily Total calories burned for that day was still only 238. :/

I've heard there's an option under cardio for weight training that gives you an estimate for calories burned.

Yup; just verified it; there is.

You have to click "Add Exercise" under Cardiovascular and then search "Strength training (weight lifting, weight training)". Add a duration and calories burned.
