Energry bars and sugar (link)

It's something I looked into a while ago. I thought, "Why am I paying so much for cereal bars when I could be buying chocolate bars?"
And the answer is density. A "bite size" chocolate bar will have nearly twice as many calories as a smaller cereal bar. Which is why I continue to buy cereal bars.
I know you said energy bars - I guess the point is that you want higher density of energy in an energy bar. But then to reverse my previous statement, if a Snickers has less energy than an energy bar, I'd rather have two Snickers bars!0 -
I've started making my own protein bars-theyre cheap, easy and delicious!

the only modification i made was using stevia instead of xylitol and i use a non-whey protein powder. but these are soooo good-they taste like pumpkin cake!0
