Low fat low calorie quick meal suggestions

I'm 22 5'3 and weight 180lb trying to get get down to 150lb and maybe more, always had a big bust and bum and thighs and I don't think that will change. Not that I'm complaining, anyway I find myself eating low calorie ready meals from Tesco which are okay for in work, but I'd like some ideas on easy meals I can make at home without breaking the bank and spending hours cooking. Any ideas welcome I'm not a picky eater... Which is how I've let the pounds creep up on me.

You could make batches of things and freeze them in containers, then they'd be like homemade ready meals :) xx

I find that the Good Food Web site is great!!! You can join, find meals you like and add them to your own personal binder. Ive tried quite a few meal ideas. Chill, Chickpea curry, lots of chicken dishes. Take a look. You can even pick how many calories you want the meal to have.

Ready meals great, easy and quick, but fully of rubbish and fill you for about an hour!!!! I ate them for years and would no way go back to eating them now
  • oops, read the question wrong... was giving suggestions for snacks. (Fibro-fog strikes again!) As far as low calorie meals, I like baking a chicken breast and having some veggies with it. I recently made this and sprinkled cajun seasoning on the chicken and it was yummy! It's quick and easy (I'm not much for cooking either). Also, there is a website called skinnytaste.com, and it has recipes for crock-pot meals that are relatively simple, if you have a slow cooker.

Thanks I'll take a look on that website, I know they're not ideal all the time that's why I want some quick easy meals I'm not the greatest cook :frown: but practise makes perfect.

Yes thanks I love fruit and veg I usually snack on yoghurt or have cereal but there's too much sugar in them, would make sense

I spend one day a week (for me either Saturday or Sunday) and I make one batch meal....Doing this a couple of times I have quite the selection in the freezer.
