How much muscle/strength will I lose running?

I'm on my second time thru NROLFW. During the week I often do HIIT either after my weight lifting, or in between workouts. But I like a long run on the weekends. How much am I setting myself back as far as muscle and strength gains?
My goal is to change my body composition, which I've done significantly in the last six months. But I'd like to add one run a week.

Today I ran 7.5 miles, and next week I'd like to run 5 miles.

I don't think running one day a week is going to be detrimental to you.

Curious also, I've been doing TurboFire and NROL4W. I know its a no-no but I love them both!

Honestly, I haven't noticed any change as long as I eat enough.

depends on a lot of factors like what macronutrients and what percentages you are consuming, what type of calorie deficit you are running, what type of running you are doing (fast walk, jog, run, sprints, interval training, etc). another huge factor is how much weight lifting or resistance training you are doing, whether you are running on steep hills, etc.

if you are a casual runner, i doubt you'll lose any muscle.

While running can a have negative effect of heavy lifting and mass gains, you will be perfectly fine with your one day per week plan. I wouldn't worry about it at all
