3 weeks in nd ony just discovered the website - doh!

Hey everyone! I've had the app on my phone for a very long time (don't actually remember even geting it!) but have never used it.

This year I have set myself a challenge to lose weight as I am at least 5 stone over a healthy BMI. I am not rushing to do this and am making small changes each week to learn new eating habits. I am also trying to stick to a 1300-1600 calorie a day intake.

I have to be careful as I have ME/CFS and any major change knocks my energy levels, even if that change is to healthy eating!

So far I have lost about 3 1/2 lbs which I am really pleased with.

I have a personal trainer who helps me do some light exercise each week, this week we are trying 2 x half hour sessions to see how I go.

It's gonna be a long haul I think and slow going but as I said I have given myself a year and a lot can happen in that time.

I also have a facebook page;

for support, feel free to friend request for this page and join me on my journey.

    You are an admirable person to make the decision to improve your health with the challenges you have. Please forgive me, but what is ME/CFS?

    When I was young, high school through early twenties, I felt very bad: fatigue, muscle and joint pain, no stamina. I never had a medical diagnosis. That might have been a good thing, because throughout my life I have sought answers for those issues. I have fought them as though they were truly my enemy. Through seeking to be closer to the Creator God through the written Word of God, and seeking to do what is right in my eating, mental and spiritual health, and lifestyle, I can thank God that today, I feel better than I did as a young woman.

    This is to say, I have spent a lot of time failing and not living up to my own expectations, but yet getting back up and trying it again has been my life.

    And those are the things I think will be of help to any of us: Seek to know Creator God through Jesus; Seek to do what is right for our minds, emotions, and our bodies. Any result from those endeavors will be a good positive result. What do we have to lose?

    I am 64 years old. Everyday is a new day. Today, I start fresh.
