I singed up for this site about a year ago & never followed thru. I'm back as I"m serious about being healthy again. I quit smoking 2 1/2 years ago & blamed my weight gain on that. The thing is, I've continued to gain and I'm at the highest weight that I've ever been. I way more now then what I did when I was 9 mo. pregnant. I'm turning 40 this coming summer and I want to enjoy the next 40 or more years at a healthy "me". I've also been dealing with a health problem which leads me to not being my old active self. I haven't exercised or been to the gym since last fall. I tend to be an emotional eater along with eating when I'm bored. I tried the Dunkin diet for about a week then decided there just is't enough food choices to pick from. As of a week ago I've cut way back on my carbohydrates, calories, & fat. I'm hoping by keeping track of my food intake thru this site that it will help me reach my goal. 62 lbs. is what I'm aiming to loose.

Welcome back - You can do this! I'm on my 3rd go around... I decided that I'm tired of this body and I need to do something about it this year and follow through. I'm holding myself accountable and setting short term goals and taking it day by day. I also eat when I'm bored at work and for the past week or so I've been keeping my bad habits in check.
I'm looking to lose about 75 lbs and I'm in it for the long haul this time - feel free to add me - I'm always looking for accountability partners and motivational buddies and will do the same0 -
