Right or Wrong time to weigh yourself?

I’m confused about what time I should weigh myself? I know you should try to do it at the same time of day to get an accurate reading but should this be first thing in the morning or at night? My weight can be nearly 3 lbs different from first thing to when I go to bed, which is your true weight?? :-S :explode:

Morning. Soon as you get out of your bed but after you pee. Don'ts do it on days after you binge or mornings when you pfeel bloated, that includes menstrual bloat.
Don't do it at night. Your weight at night is completely different to your weight in the morning because the food you eat is obviously included in your measurements during that time.
Also, if you really want accuracy then I'd suggest measuring yourself with a measuring tape or measuring your body fat percentage. Scales include your water weight, your bone density, muscle mass, fat, hair (which does make a difference if you have a lot of it), etc. You won't really know what you're losing when you drop a few lbs.0 -
I always weigh myself in the morning before I eat anything, partly because to me it seems less likely that the numbers would be skewed by whatever you still have in your stomach from the day. Mostly though, I do it then because that is almost always not only the lowest number of the day, but also the consistent when I track.
But I don't think it REALLY matters as long as you use the same one to track, weather it be AM or PM.0 -

I weigh myself in the morning. I go to the bathroom wait 10-15 min then weigh without my pj's on. Once a week at the same time.0

Thanks everyone, I'll stick to weighing only in the morning and measuring once week. Im trying not to get to obsessed with weighing myself everytime I walk past the scales LOL0
