So with the Superbowl coming up, I know a lot of people are having parties including myself. What I am looking for are some healthy food choices that I can make that are low in calories so I won't go over my daily calorie intake. Any suggestions to recipes, links, etc are appreciated.
Thanks for your responses.

I second skinnytaste. They have some really good recipes that don't look or taste like "diet" or "healthy" food.0 -

black bean dip! Made with mashed black beans, onion, chopped jalepeno, chopped garlic, and some cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. Can eat with chips, WW tortillas, crackers, even veggies. Good for you so long as you don't go crazy with the cheese! If anyone wants the exact reciipe contact me privately and I will post it.0

I made this recently and it's SO good!!!
Skinny Buffalo Chicken Dip
2 1/2 pounds of fresh chicken breasts
1/2 pkg. dry ranch seasoning
3/4 bottle Franks Red Hot sauce
pkg. 1/3 less fat cream cheese
Put chicken, ranch and 1/2 bottle Franks sauce in crock pot on for 4-5 hours. It will be done before this...Usually by 4 hours I go open it up, shred the chicken, pour another 1/4 bottle sauce and block of cream cheese. Mix all together. EAT!!
It make 18 servings- serving size is 1/3 cup. I actually used the actual measuring cup for serving so I'd know how many servings I had
Serving size has
118 calories
2 gr carbs
4 gr fat
26 gr protein
* Serve with celery sticks for the lowest cal/carb option.*
You can also use, rolls to make a sandwich, tortilla chips, crackers.0 -
I love jalapeno poppers! It's one of my favorite football foods.
So, I've substituted regular bacon for turkey bacon. You can also substitute regular cream cheese for reduced fat cream cheese, however, I really prefer the taste of regular cream cheese to reduced fat cream cheese. I guess it's all about your preferences though!0 -
My plan is to be really strict Monday through Friday and save up some calories. We are making hot wings to take to the party and I plan to eat several0
