    BTW, 2 games I am REALLY looking forward to are Sim City 5, and Omerta ( a gangster PC game ).... both come out next month, I think.

    So many amazing games over the years, three is a REALLY hard to decide on (so I decided the best criteria was games that I felt sad after completing).

    In no particular order...

    1) Halflife 2.
    2) Star Wars: Knights of the old republic.
    3) Overlord.

    For me, these arent my favorite necessarily, but they had the greatest influence on me.

    1. Goldeneye - revolutionized multiplayer FPS
    2. Halo - Ushered in xbox, microsoft, and an advanced online fps system of small skirmishes to massive battles
    3. Pokemon - timeless portable game, regardless which version you play, its a guaranteed success



    Favorite game at the moment are

    3. Borderlands 2

    Nice to see a fellow CoXer. I had toons on every server but played primarily on Virtue and Pinnacle.

    2.) The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
    3.) Metroid Prime

    There is so many I like though. Close to my top would be Halo, Half Life (both), and Portal.

    1) Counter Strike - The original shooter. Still untouchable even to this day.
    2) Final Fantasy 7 - Best RPG ever to be made.
    3) Final Fantasy 11 - Best MMORPG ever made. Perfect balance.

    Honorable mentions: Socom 1 / Socom 2: The more I think about it, the more I think they were better than CS. Gamebattles.com was pretty much founded on socom - and those were the best ladders/competitive games I've ever played. Uncharted series: beautiful games, amazing single player, and amazing online play; what's not to like?

    As of late: DotA2. Amazing moba game with an insane amount of heroes and crazy meta game. I'm losing my life to this game right now.

    I used to love playing pokemon and mario but since having my oldest 2 yrs ago I dont have time. I might have an hour to play sims 2 on my laptop when hes quiet but he usualy tries to play and ruins things lol
