I'm going to have to try this one. Do you bake according to the spice cake directions?

Oh... these recipes sound delicious and wonderful. I absolutely LOVE desserts with apples. I've got a great breakfast that I eat, and it reminds me of apple pie: I make a bowl of oats (1/2c dry) and add some cinnamon to it, slice an apple, and add cinnamon to a plain vanilla Carbmaster yogurt. I dip the apple slices in the oats and then in the yogurt. It tastes like dessert.

haha i do something similar, with half a cup of oats cooked, stir in 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce, some cinnamon and a nectresse packet. so good and filling!

bump...I have been looking online for a SIMPLE apple dessert recipe! Everything has at least 8-10 ingredients!
  • UPDATE: made this for a covered dish dinner using white cake mix and added spices to it ( cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves- to taste), still using margarine (Imperial is what I had on hand)
    THEN logged the recipe later.

Spice cake was a much BETTER choice- lower in all categories :ohwell: live and learn
