cycling app

Can someone recommend a cycling app that has worked well? I have tried mapmyride but looking to see if there are others out there that are more accurate.

I used Cyclemeter all last year, and was perfectly happy with it. It is very rich in data. I was able to compare it to the miles and speeds on my bicycle computer (strata), and found them to be always quite close.

I was thinking of switching to MapMy Ride for this coming year, because I know a number of people that use it, and thought the social aspects could be fun. As well as being able to download other people's rides to use. (It allows that, doesn't it?)

Only used mapmyride+ and it seems to work pretty good for me.

I use Google Tracks for every outdoor activity. Works great.

How much accuracy do you need?

I used Strava until some git stole my bike.

I use Cyclemeter for road (then upload it to Strave post-ride). I use the Strave app directly for MTB.
  • Strava (www.strava.com) is brilliant.
