I don't know what your current fat consumption is, but remember that fat is not the big boogey man it's made out to be. Nuts, some oil in your salad dressing or on your veggies, or healthy(ish) peanut butter are all good unsaturated fats that will help you raise your calories. Heck, I don't think there's anything wrong with real butter on bread, either (it's certainly healthier than margarine!).

Chicken, steak, fish, protein shake, egg white omelette.

Don't be afraid of the fat!

I'm in the same boat. I have too much protein and not enough calories. I know over all I eat healthy but never thought that a loss of calories would be an issue. I still have room for carbs and fat.. maybe some air popped popcorn with butter... Little treat for me tonight.. LOL

I just logged an avocado in on my food list - 322 calories! Dang! High in fat but it's the good kind, right?

I usually have half an avocado a week.......sooo yummy! High in fat, but so healthy for you. It has so many health benefits...including (but not limited to) cancer prevention and eye and heart health. It's a superfood. Ever since I read about how many health benefits it has, I started incorporating it into my diet.

Thanks everyone. I dont try to avoid fat, just want to keep it at a reasonable intake amount each day. The only meat i eat is chicken, with the occasional turkey, so its hard to always meet my calorie needs from everything else. Im for sure going to be buying some avocado to throw into my diet though. I cant believe ive never tried it before.

I started eating KIND Bars to help add those calories up.. they are packed with nuts and fruits and fiber! they make a great snack and even help satisfy the sweet tooth.
