Living a crazy life!!

Ive actually been dieting for a couple of months now, and have lost about 20lbs. Im feeling a little bittersweet about it right now actually. Right now My husband and I are living with my inlaws and my brother and sister in law. not to mention their 2 young kids. Loosing weight was supposed to be something that my husband and I would do together. lets just say he isnt fully committed. Its sooo hard to live in a crazy life everyday and feel like I am really the only one who is giving a damn about dieting. Dinnertime is an absolute struggle. Is there such a meal that will A) make a massive quantity B)is healthy C) something that the kids will eat D) something that the older folks wont mock?? Im starting to feel like its an impossible task. Please feel free to add me as a friend if you feel like you need someone as much as I do!!

How about doing smaller quantity of a variety of foods rather than massive amounts of a couple of foods? ADD :-)0

The whole 'buffet' thing works best with my varied-picky boys and husband and me wanting healthy. (By the way, for the past 21 years my husband has been promising to work out or get healthy with me, and it's always just me.)
Buffets, like taco buffet.. I make a bowl of meat, of rice, of grilled onions/peppers, of black beans, of hard shells and low carb soft shells, different cheese and tomato choices..... I make my taco with the low carb shells and lots of veggies, beans and rice, while the men make theirs with lots of meat and cheese......
We also so a 'subway sandwich buffet'. Different. Bread choices (from French roll to low carb wraps...), fixing for meaty sandwiches and all kinds of veggies and other choices! .
Barbarian Buffet is when I just strewn nuts, cheeses, fruits, and raw veggies directly on to the table cloth and everyone just eats off the table cloth...it's funny and everyone likes it.
It's work, but my boys help,out and I only do a buffet type dinner once a week.0
