Anybody else have a mouth watering Domino's Pizza add with tempting pictues of cheesy pizza, plump chiken wings, buttery breadsticks on their home page...... This must be a creul joke or a test of will power. Oh well, I guess I will go eat a rice cake now.:o(

    for a while mine was a sushi place that is local to us, then it swapped over to a shoe store ad, currently it is jewlery. I think it follows your searches on the net.

    Ads work by looking at your search history and picking relevant ads for you....at least that's how ones I've placed worked.

    But yes...it is VERY cruel!!!

    Adblock. It's free (donations accepted) and blocks most ads.

    No--but have seen similar ads on television. Wonder if individual sites have any say on what is advertised?

    This is what I noticed... It's like "smart ads" going by what you search or sites you visit as these would be more likely clicked on by you.

    Mine aren't 'smart ads' based on internet usage.. I'm getting graze boxes and farm foods, as well as protein powder, hair transplants and insurance.. but no pizza.. lucky me?

    I just bought a bike on Walmart.com, so everywhere I go, there is this Walmart ad trying to sell me that same bike.

    Its a conspiracy man. But that is invaded privacy for you. You had to have been eating those things recently and you ordered it online.....maybe not you, but maybe your spouse?

    Hmm....oh, and rice cakes are worse than your pizza. At lease the pizza won't lie about its ability to clog your arteries. The rice cakes (aka Quaker) tell you all this crap about how healthy it is, but it is filled with powdered cheese. How f-ed up is that?

    It goes off your history eh..... weird cuz I never surf bad food sights. but here is what I tried tonight . 1 banana, 3 eggs, table spoon of low fat peanut butter. put in a blender and mix until it thickens. then pour into a frying pan or giddle and make a pancake out of it. I put some apple sauce on it and it was fantastic.
