Looking for healthy non chicken crock pot recipes. Nothing against the bird, just wanting something different. I can find tons of chicken recipes so I'm hoping for some great recipes using other meats. I like cheap fast and easy but all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I've done turkey meatloaf in the crock pot. I put it on top of a steamer rack so it wouldn't sit in what drained off.

Cheap, fast and easy, but high in sodium.

Cheapest beef roast you can find 4-5 lbs.
    2 cans condensed mushroom soup
    1 packet onion soup mix
    2 carrots - chopped
    1 stalk celery - chopped
3-4 potatoes - chopped in thirds
    1- can mixed vegetables
    1- can mushrooms
1-2 cups water (start with one and add as needed)

Put everything in a crockpot and cook on medium high until beef is tender. I added a container of sour cream to replace the water and some garlic powder to my last batch.

Allrecipes.com is one of my favorite sites for recipes and they have a collection just for slow cooker stuff. There is links for Beef, Pork, etc. so you can search for non-chicken stuff.

I make pulled pork in my crock pot all the time. The recipe in Ready and Waiting is pretty good, but make your own BBQ sauce or at least use a better quality one like Diana's.

I also make ribs in the crock pots. Broil 3 lbs of ribs both sides for about 10 min each. Cut into 3 rib portions, put in crock pot, put 1 cup of BBQ over them. Walk away for 6-7 hours of low temp cooking.

Best pork chops ever - had them tonight

bone in pork chops - I use 3 center cut
    1 cup of water
1 packet of mccormick's slow-cooker savory pot roast
1 can of root beer or coke
leave on low for 8 hours
before eating, sprinkle mccormick's aujus gravy mix on top.

Pork chops = literally falling apart. So tasty.
