Skinny Peanut Butter Brownies
These brownies contain no flour, oil, or butter. They are so good too! More of a fudgey consistency then a normal brownie though.
Skinny Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
6 oz. low fat vanilla yogurt (could use fat free)
1/4 cup skim milk (or almond milk)
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar (or Splenda)
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 8×8 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
Place all of the ingredients except for the peanut butter into a blender or food processor. (Yes, a blender!) For easier blending, place the liquid ingredients into the blender first. Blend until mix is smooth and oats are ground up. You will have to stop the blender and scrape down the sides a few times.
Pour batter into prepared baking dish. Batter will be thin. Microwave peanut butter for about 30 seconds. Drop melted peanut butter by spoonfuls onto the batter, swirling gently with a knife to create a marbled effect. (Try not to overmix!)
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Brownies will be extra fudgy, so be sure to wait until COMPLETELY cooled – I stuck mine in the refrigerator for 2 hours, which allowed them to be cut very easily.
Cut into 12 squares and enjoy!

Oh they look delightful? How many calories are they??
Think it'd be pretty tricky to keep it to one and not eat the whole batch!0 -

Just put it into the recipe calculator...I also entered just regular sugar, not the low/no calorie stuff
For 12 brownies:

They look good, but "skinny" might not be the best description. I get 195 calories each, 9.2g fat. I looked up Duncan Hines brownie mix for comparison, and theirs (as baked, not just mix) are 180 calories each, 8g fat. These might be a good treat if you're wheat intolerant, though.0

If using splenda there are about 145 calories per brownie..if I did the math right :P haha0

When I make them I plan to use a no-fat yogurt, almond milk and splenda to keep the calories/fat down.0

Not to be a bummer, but I tried these (with Splenda) and I just didn't like them. They didn't taste chocolate-y enough for me. Maybe it was something I did wrong, but just giving one review! I ended up throwing them out because they weren't worth 145 calories to me (because I can have a chocolate chip cookie or an oreo ball for <100 calories!)0

Oh I have made these and they were delicious! I subbed greek yogurt instead of normal yogurt to add more protein. I highly recommend!
