Yoga

I live in a small town so we do not have many options for classes/gyms. They have been doing Zumba classes twice a week that are great. But they just started a night time yoga class on Monday and Thursday. I really want to start doing it to limber up! Buuuut I do have it on my kinect. I'm just wondering if it is worth it for me to go and what the pros/cons are?

    I would try it out and see what you think. If it's a different teacher on Monday and Thursday, I would say try them both. I would guess you wouldn't be out much money, so what do you have to lose?
  • Try the class; if it is any good it will be a very motivating and relaxing atmosphere, and the instructor usually gives variations for different skill levels that you can't get from an app. Usually they also lead you through the poses and remind you where to put your weight, where you are supposed to feel each pose, and also being in an environment outside my home helps me to relax and focus. As yoginimary said, all teachers are very different so try each of them. ^^

    I love yoga and its included in my weekly routine. try new things :)

    It is monotonous and gets hard to do the same routine, over, and over, and over, all by yourself. In a class, you have other persons to push you, a teacher who may give you instruction, and, most important of all, you never know what you are going to be asked to do.
