Insanity & Knees!!

Hello everyone, I've had knees problems for weeks. But it's getting worse. This morning, when I got up, I felt really bad, they really hurt and I can't pick anything from the floor!. Is it normal with working out? What should I do to release this pain? & of course I had to stop insanity that I'm not able to do most of the movements :(

    Go see a sports medicine specialist. If you have an HMO go see your general practitioner first, than they will refer you, but be sure to ask for the refferal.

    After you rule out any structural /internal issues, make sure you are doing the movements right and not putting undue stress on your knees. The biggest issue I see with form is letting your knees go over your toes in the squat / lunge position. You should be pushing through with your heel and be able to see the tips of your toes when looking down. Concentrate on using your quads, hamstrings, and glutes. Keep your back upright and arched.

    Thank you, Though I'm sure I do squats correctly, but even though my knees kill me when I do it. I might just have got bad knees.
