Hi! I have been doing this for four weeks and have lost 12 pounds. I have been confused about how many calories to eat, but I have that under control now ( I think). My problem is getting enough calories during the days we don't eat out and/ or I work out. I often fall below by a couple hundred calories. Here is what I typically eat during the day:
B- Dannon yougurt with granola and fruit or cheerios with fruit and milk
L- Turkey sandwhich with mustard on 100% whole wheat
S- almonds or a granola bar
D- meat, veggies, fruit, and maybe a starch or GOOD bread
no calories from drinks though ( I miss sweet tea!!!)
I usually end up around 1400 cals and need 1650 or more if I work out.

Bananas are 100 calories....Healthy, but you can get a quick bump in calories if you need it. Personally, if I have left over calories, I reward myself with a "forbidden food". I had 2 chocolate chip cookies the other night, because I had enough calories to do so.0

Yes, Bananas Are A Good Source Of Calories & Very Healthy. You Could Also Spread Out Your Meals Even More, Or Add A Couple More Fruits Here & There Between Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. It's An Easy Way To Rack Up On Calories & Get Closer To Your Daily Amount. Having Healthier Snacks Spread Out Among The Day Keeps You Fuller & Less Liable To Eat More During A Meal & Possibly Exceed Your Daily Amount Of Calories. You'll Even Out Your Calories & You'll Feel Great.
Also, Another Good Snack To Eat Would Be Carrots [ If You Like Them ]
Hope I've Helped & Good Luck To You!!0 -
try eating something with that turkey sandwich, like a green salad, veggie of some sort or another yogurt. Are you missing any protein or fats? I would also suggest apple with peanut butter, my fav snack!0

I do eat either a salad or fruit with the sandwhich. All my other areas are covered. I want to be able to eat all of my cals each day, but I want to avoid my danger foods too. I know I have the calories for a cookie, but I think it is safer for me to choose something else.0
