Are you kidding me... how can we be on page 2 of who's the favorite guitar player without anyone mentioning Jimi Hendrix. Well he's my favorite.
  • Joe Pass- one of the graetest jazz guitarest of all time. I was very fortunate to see him live at a small hole in the wall when I was a kid about 35 years ago, I had a cool dad when it came to music.Joe was someone that ininspired Page, Clapton, and Eddie as well as many others that followed. He was one of the first shredders! Check him out and enjoy!

Michael Paget - Bullet for My Valentine
  • It's a tie, considering the genres they play -

BB King, Santa, Stevie Ray Vaughn

Heh, I didn't know Santa played.

For me, Johnny Ramone and Keith Richards.

I have a hard time narrowing things down.

Jeff Loomis (Nevermore) - Emptiness Unobstructed (solo on this song brings me to tears), Born, This Godless Endeavour

    * Page Townsley (Vore) - Misery Embrace, The Cruelest Construct

    * Piotr Wiwczarek (Vader) - Carnal, Xepher, Black to the Blind

    * Steve Allington (Apnea) - Victimized, The Great Ruiner, Tempest of Eternity

    * Also, some of my favorite vocalists ever. Especially Wiwczarek. I love, love, love everything he's ever done. Vader makes me giddy like a schoolgirl.

Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carlos Santana
  • I like Zakk Wylde.

Before or after he started to look like a long lost cousin on Duck Dynasty?

Grrr. Zakk is my dream man, my secret boyfriend! Not a coincidence that he looks a LOT like my hubby!

This is too hard a choice. I love Zakk, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, and Alexi Laiho. I've seen all of them live, even traveled 500+ miles to catch Steve Vai at the House of Blues. Hmmm. Nope, can't choose just one.

Edited because I forgot to add songs:

Hammer and Nail, Always with Me Always with You (I got married to that song!) For the Love of God, Sinners Swing!, Follow the Reaper.

It's difficult for me to pick one. But here's a couple:

Mike Akerfeldt - Serenity Painted Death, Black Rose Immortal, The Drapery Falls, Bleak, I could go on and on and on.

Jeff Loomis - This Godless Endeavor, The River Dragon.

    This guy knows his shizz

    For me its John Petrucci.

    John Petrucci-YES!!!!!!
