Uni Student Meals

Options
Anyone have any great meals or recipes for a uni student who is on a budget and is looking to watch what they eat and calorie count?

You'll be a superb help as I don't really have much creativity and patience in the kitchen unfortunately... Thank you :-) -R

    Hi!

I knew a student who had an amazing cook book by a guy called Sam Stern. He was a student who wanted to make tasty and quick meals. Here is a link to his site : http://www.virgintoveteran.com/html/sam-recipes+extras.html

Also, although I'm not a student I have limited money and I don't always like waiting... Ainsley Harriotts cous cous is good and filling with some salad and I also love brown pasta with oven roasted tomatoes and pesto.

I am a huge fan of this site:

    http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/content/recipes/favourites/cheap-eat/

It's got a ton of cheap, healthy recipes for all tastes, and out of the many I have tried so far, I only had a couple that I wasn't that impressed by, the rest are now firmly added to my recipe book! You can search by ingredient, browse the cheap eats or check for low cal meals.

I'm not a student but when I want food, I don't wanna wait forever. I'm also low on cash so student meals would be ideal for me! :) There's some lush recipes on these sites... NOM!
