Can you substitute egg for the ranch dressing?

The ranch dressing is what gives this dish a lot of it's delicious flavor, so you wouldn't get that if you used just egg.

Bumping keeps the post high up and also allows you to find the post as you commented on it so that you can remember it for later.

In the UK there is a similar recipe using a whole chicken breast which you then spread a thin layer of Light Mayo and mix the parmesan with breadcrumbs and sprinkle on top before cooking. You then just check the cals on a Tbsp of Mayo.

Instead of ranch dressing, I'm going to try thinned down greek yogurt seasoned with lemon pepper.

Thanks- the recipe looks good. I have never heard of that dressing before. Hope I can find it

In case not answered... A lot of the Bolthouse products can be found in and around your grocery store's organic section or in the produce section.
    I've found their stuff at:
    Costco
    Kroger
    Meijer
Anderson's and Anderson's Market (If you're in NW Ohio)

Their stuff is pretty good! Although if you buy their "smoothies" caution they tend to "burn" your throat a little...
