Frozen Dinner/Portions/ A little OCD haha

Now I know this is a pretty OCD but I'm just curious. I often eat this one lean cuisine, broccoli and potatoes with cheddar cheese. Probably way too much haha it's like my favorite dinner. But I feel like some of those meals are way bigger than others. Not varying between different varieties, but the same type of meal, just another box.

Has anyone every noticed that some of these meals are bigger than others?
I'm afraid if they're bigger than normal that the calorie count on the label may not be accurate. Should I rely on the number printed on the box, even if it seems bigger than another box?

I know, OCD. But it's been irritating me. So I decided to ask

I know exactly what you mean - I'm the same way! The numbers on the nutrition label (calories, etc.) are not exact, they have an error tolerance of 20%. Drives me nuts, but not much you can do about it.

If you are eating lean cuisine for dinner frequently you have already given up on life

Thank you! I feel like I'm insane but the other day I had one meal and it was like so big it barely fit in the container and last night it was only half full and I had to have a bowl of soup on the side because I was still starving.

I am truly quite OCD, food particularly but really in all areas of my life. So how to count the numbers really freaks me out. Like the broccoli and potatoes is 210. But if there are more potatoes in one than there were in the other, is it still 210?

For tracking purposes, I would just go with what the nutrition label says. Sometimes it'll be actually be higher and sometimes lower, but it all averages out i guess. At least it's way more accurate than restaurant food is!
