day 3 feeling a bit weak

hello all first post to please be kind

Ive just started on this journey this is day 3

Have 3 stone to loose to get back the where I was happiest

anyway the first 2 days went fine like the way the app makes you look at portion sizes and offset one food against another

I even still felt full even though I still have about 400 cals left to play with at the end of the day ( goes to show how much I was over eating )

anyway today I woke up and I just feel really weak and like I'm sickening for a cold.
Is this a normal reaction to the reduced cal intake?

Today I'm making sure I max out my 1860 allowance see if that makes a difference

Ensure you are eating enough and getting enough protein, fiber, fat and water. Make sure you are tracking correctly.

How much are you exercising or are you? Have you drastically cut your sodium intake?

If it continues see a doctor.
  • Same thing happened to me like the first week. Then I noticed that I wasn't hungry even though I had a lot of calories left over (days where I worked out and didn't). Anyway, what I did was I then made sure to eat up to the caloric limit even if I wasn't hungry. After about a week I think my body became accustomed to things and now I am eating under and above, but feel great.

Also, important to take your vitamins and get enough sleep!

Essentially eat more calories. If you need to, go to town on a peanut butter jar or some nuts.

Im in week one myself. I felt like that the first few days. For me, it was lack of sleep. I was overstressing myself, thinking about "how much I was depriving myself" Got a couple nights of good sleep and felt much better.

I found Juicing helps with this. Basically you are getting a bunch of nutrients by juicing apples, carrots, (little bit of ginger), cucumber, beats and whatever else you can think of and it allows your body to rejuvenate while giving it the least amount of work possible (not having to break anything down into a liquid). You'll pee alot but its usually either feeling bad or peeing. :)

It could be just that you've made a big change in your diet and are missing the sugar high you used to get from a lot of extra sugars and carbs.

    thanks for the advice

I've been making sure I get near my limit for the last two days and now starting to feel better

think the calorie drop together coupled with working nights this week was a major shock to my system

weigh in day Sunday so that will be acid test I suppose

This! I felt like that the first couple of weeks. My body was adjusting to the healthy clean eating and stressing itself with physical activity. There are days I still feel like that, I listen to my body and eat but eat something healthy.
Good Luck - you can do this and will be so happy you did!!
