Normally in the past when I was on a diet, I would feel bad about splurging, but I don't feel bad tonight. I already had my fat grams blown way out of proportion so I figured why not. I had me some ice cream after dinner. I know I probably shouldn't have but I will get right back on track in the morning. :) I have already maxed out my exercise minutes for the week, and I have only exercised two days this week. Im planning on exercising atleast one more day. My abs are still hurting so I am waiting for a day or two. Sunday is my day to be weighed in so Im hoping I lost something. I been peeing like crazy, because I have been drinking mainly water. Today I splurged and had a glass of milk, which Im trying to do every other day. And I had a glass of Iced Tea, which isn't too bad for me. and i used splenda as the sweetener. Over all I am doing better and I feel confident and comfortable about it.

Some people at work was laughing at me because I was writing down all the nutritional value of the item I was eating. But I see it as this, that I will be the one laughing once I reach my goal because I watched what I ate and stuck to it.

I appreciate all the support and hope to keep talking to many of you guys!

You got it, babe! Do your own thing and never mind the nay-sayers. You will be the one to benefit the most: and only you can do the work.

Yes, I have noticed some odd looks from my friends and family, and even some little "dig" comments during this past month I have been on my journey to "the old wardrobe". I believe many of us have from other posts I have read. You just do your thing, it WILL be us laughing in the end.

I personally have no reason to feel ashamed for what I am trying to do for myself. I dont care how many weird looks I get. Once I hit that size 12 again, which will be a while from now. I will turn around and laugh at them. LITERATELY. If someone can't believe in me and what I am doing then **** them. I want to live a full healthy life.

Thanks for the support & words of encouragement!

I am all for splurging. Especially if you sort of plan it. Not with the mindset of, "OK, now I blew everything and I might as well give up" I tell myself "tonight Im going to have a pice of pizza and a glass ( or two) of wine and tomorrow I will get up early and do an extra half hour of cardio and really watch what I eat".

Thats been working for me for two and a half months, so far! It keeps me sane and from feeling deprived.
    Keep it up!!
  • I think a splurge now and then is great. Sunday is my sons birthday and we will be going to eat and yes I will have a piece of cake(1 only). So I know Friday and Saturday I will just walking a little longer.
