Gastric Bypass Patient and loving the changes!!

I had roux-en-y just over 3 months ago. Left the hospital at 307 and weighed in today at 237. I am loving getting in the gym and eating real food! Seeing the awesome changes to my body makes it so much easier to stick to it, work my buns off, and drink lots of water. I have more energy, move quicker, and feel great. I am off all blood pressure meds and no migraines to date. My kids are so proud of their new, healthy, active mom and they are making better choices. It would be great to have friends who are on similar journeys, surgery or not, to go through this journey with!

Awesome! :) I've considered WLS but my anxiety just kills it for me. I'm so afraid to go under! I freaked out just getting my stomached checked (put under and camera down your throat). I guess it's silly... :)

My doctor wants me to have Gastric Bypass too, but I'm afraid of it. My job involves a lot of heavy lifting. I'm afraid I will tear something, and they will have to operate again.
