So I used to be of the mindset that the whole eating more to weigh less thing was crazy, so once I lost about 30 lbs I hit a plateau. I kept at it, stayed working out eating the same calories and the scale didn't move but hey, at least I made some fitness improvements with all the working out!! But I recently found out I was pregnant and my doctor recommended that I quit eating at a calorie deficit and go to maintenance calories. Amazingly, a few weeks later, eating maintenance calories and easing up on the intensity of the workouts, I've dropped 5 lbs! I'm sure being pregnant they'll come back sooner or later but for everyone who doubts this concept of eating more, try it. I would never have believed it either.

Yes I agree, when we eat less we send a message to our body & it goes into starvation mode, it stores the food just incase it does'nt get any more so by eating more you send a message to the body & it releases the un wonted kgs - funny I do agree but it does work.
Good luck with the new baby to be0 -
agggh I'm stuck at 300
