Too many fitbit calories back?

So, I think that my fitbit is giving me too many calories back. I'm getting a good amount of steps in (between 15,000 and 20,000), but they are far from all "exercise" calories. I'm having trouble eating enough calories to compensate and don't feel hungry. I have my mfp weight loss set to a slow rate, so I have plenty of calories before exercise, but when I get my extra calories, it's too much! Today I have well over 3000 calories, but I don't want to eat that much... Not walking seems like a poor option and even though I don't always eat super clean, I don't want to scarf down burgers and pasta to make up the calories.

Has anyone else experienced this and found that it was an issue with their MFP or fitbit settings? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

So don't eat them. Or only eat 1/2 - or whatever you're comfortable with. The MFP Police will not come to your house and force you to eat them, I promise.

    ^^this.

I don't have a fit bit, so I can only track exercise calories, but I don't always eat all of them back. Sometimes I will go on the elliptical for an hour to 'earn' a nice dinner out or something, but usually I'll just eat back part of them.
