Losing too fast?

I'm trying really hard to do this the right way and not lose too much too fast. I've lost about 7.2 pounds in the last week with my calories set at 1560 per day. I'm usually right around my calorie goal and never under 1200. Can anyone peak at my diary or help me figure out if this is normal? I did start a medication for insulin resistance (PCOS) about a week ago but I've taken it before and never lost like this.

  • I also eat back my exercise calories.
  • Hi Coop, when did you first start your altered diet and workout routine? Was it in January?
  • Yea. I really started about 2 weeks ago....

Super fast weight loss in the beginning isn't uncommon. There will be some water weight loss, and some ... adjustment loss. Enjoy the easier pounds, later on it will get harder.
  • ok, good! I am enjoying it... but just wanted to make sure I was doing this "right". haha!

I've lost weight before and I remember losing about 4 pounds that first week. Since I"m almost double that I just needed to check and get some reassurance.

I am having the same "problem" and was also wondering if I was doing things correctly. I guess I will just enjoy the early weight loss.
