    I'd like to try the ground flaxseeds too--such an easy thing to throw into a shake or yogurt

    so I just found this out, but with flaxseeds it's actually best to buy whole flaxseeds and grind them yourself in a coffee grinder if you have it.

    when you buy the pre-ground stuff, most of the oils are no longer there because of the processing. lame. but they're so great for you, it's worth the little extra effort.

    This right here! I have used ground flax seed in the past and recently got the whole seeds. There is no comparison!
